Photos to Touch

Unlike most photos these images are made to be touched. Each image is professionally photographed then meticulously crafted to raise parts of the image to create an embossed or relief look that you can feel with your hand. All images are carefully coated to resist oils that may be transferred when touched. They are meant to be framed without glass or other covering. All gallery items are available in several sizes and many may be scaled to almost any size based on need.

My images were inspired by Joan, a high school classmate that became legally blind many years ago when she was in her 30’s. I thought it would be great to give her a photograph she could touch. The maple leaf image was my first image to be crafted with this technique and it hangs in her living room. All images are signed and numbered and come with a mat and backer (no framing is included).
